HVAC systems are responsible for a significant portion of total energy consumption in marine applications. Often this can – at least in part – be attributed to conventional air filtration systems still in use on many vessels.
L&C AirCare is focussed on development and production of a cleaner, more efficient and compact air filtration system specifically developed for marine applications. The system provides precision filtration and air treatment, allowing system control to be optimized based on precise sensor data relating to air quality, weather conditions and presence of crew or passengers.
In the project L&C AirCare, the partners L&C AirCare B.V. and Sepsys B.V. have joined forces. The project aims to further develop the L&C air filtration technology as a steppingstone to market introduction.
During the project, specific filtration applications will be developed and demonstrated under real world conditions.
